Knowing what it takes to
become a successful Washington Capitals ambassador, Michelle coaches the Red
Rockers to help create a high-spirited, welcoming environment for all Capitals
fans. Her duties include choreographing team dances and supervising the squad
at Caps home games. She also coordinates external events that the Red Rockers
attend throughout the season, including the annual Race for Hope DC.
Michelle was born in
Manila, Philippines, and grew up in the Washington, DC area. After completing her high school studies in
Northern Virginia, Michelle pursued further education abroad,
receiving her Bachelor’s Degree from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario,
her Master’s Degree in International Development from the London School of
Economics in the United Kingdom, and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the
University of Toronto.
When
not traveling or coaching the Red Rockers, Michelle keeps busy managing
operations and analyzing budget and policy issues for local government. She also enjoys spending time with her family
and friends, exploring new restaurants, and taking fitness classes.
As a hockey and dance
enthusiast, Michelle is proud to be part of the Monumental Sports &
Entertainment family. She can’t wait to Rock the Red with Caps fans once again this
season!
